Vacation Guides Now Available

PUEBLO, Colo. –– A package of three vacation planning guides are available from the US Department of the Interior.

A Visitor’s Guide to National Wildlife Refuges includes a full-color map to locate wildlife refuges and help you plan your visit and learn about hundreds of wildlife species and their habitats.

The Lewis and Clark National Historical Trail and the Pony Express National Historic Trail are two of the 19 national scenic and historic trails on which vacationers can drive, travel on horseback, or even hike. All are included in the National Trails System Map and Guide.

There is information about all the sights and attractions in the more than 300 national parks, monuments, and historic sites in the National Park System Map and Guide. Also included is a chart listing the services and facilities available at each site.

There are three ways to get the National Park Vacation package, which costs $5 and includes all three guides. To pay by credit card, call toll-free 888-8-PUEBLO (888-878-3256) weekdays 8 am to 8 pm and ask for the National Park Vacation.

Or send your name and address and a check or money order for $5 to National Park Vacation, Pueblo, CO 81009. Or visit www.pueblo.gsa.gov to order a catalog or to print out these and hundreds of other FCIC publications for free.
