Bernard L. Grauer

Bernard L. Grauer, 57, of Redding, died on August 2 at Danbury Hospital.

Mr Grauer was born in Yonkers, N.Y., April 24, 1946, a son of the late Bernard and Mary (Kmetz) Grauer.

He is survived by one son, Jonathon G. Grauer of Newtown; one daughter, Kristin Grauer of Bethel; one brother, Kenneth P. Grauer of Newtown; and several nieces and nephews.

Raised and educated in Yonkers, he later moved to Connecticut and had been a resident of the Danbury area for the last 27 years.

Mr Grauer was employed by Housatonic Area Regional Transit as an operations supervisor, and was a former member and emergency medical technician with the Bethel Volunteer Fire Department.

A memorial gathering of friends took place August 11 at the Bethel Funeral Home, 215 Greenwood Avenue, Bethel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to be made to the American Cancer Society, 372 Danbury Road, Wilton, CT 06897-2523.
