How does a team score 33 points when the quarterback throws for only 110 yards?
On my fantasy football team, I have Marc Bulger of the Rams as my quarterback and Torry Holt as one of my three wide receivers and I was down 18 points heading into the St. Louis-Baltimore game on Sunday night.
With Bulger and Holt, 18 points was not a lot. I was 8-1 at the time and figured getting to 9-1 (tops in the league) would be no problem.
It was a problem. I discovered in the morning that Bulger threw for 110 yards and no touchdowns. A terrible day. So naturally I figured the Rams got blown out, right?
Nah â they defeated the Ravens 33-22.
That ticks me off. The only consolation is that the second- and third-place teams in my division also lost and with four weeks to go in the regular season, it appears as if I am in good shape.
Well, here are the picks â
