Recent youth basketball game results are as follows:
Filan LLC Nighthawks 38, Tootsie Rolls 16: The Filan Nighthawks were led by Sarah Tressler (14 points), Jane Shearin (12), and Angela Carriero (6). Tressler controlled the boards and added 3 steals for layups. Shearin had her highest scoring game of the season. Grace Bertsche, Kali Ryder and Megan Riccardi played tough defense in the paint and set screens on offense. Hallie Filan played key minutes at point guard.
Filan LLC Nighthawks 27, Purple Crush 20: The Filan Nighthawks and the Purple Crush played a very competitive, defensive game. The Hawks were led at point by the quick Karsen Pirone (13 points, 2 assists). Faith OâHara sparked her team with 6 points. Ryssa Swanson nailed a long-range jumper from the side with Hallie Filan speeding through the defense for key basket. Angela Carriero used her crossover move to add 4 points and provided tough defense. Megan Riccardi again showed her rebounding prowess for the Hawks.
