Joyce A. Camejo, 50, of Patricia Lane, Newtown, died December 12 at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. She was the wife of Richard A. Camejo, Sr.

Mrs Camejo was born August 15, 1956, in Danbury, daughter of Joan Appello of Farmington and the late Joseph H. Appello. She graduated from Brookfield High School in 1974 and attended Central Connecticut State University. She worked at Davis and Geck of Danbury, was vice president at RAC Diesel Services, Inc of New Milford, and was president of Rainbow Holdings of Newtown.

Besides her husband and mother, she leaves one son, Richard A. Camejo; and one daughter Rachel A. Camejo, both of Newtown; two brothers, Joseph A. Appello and John W. Appello, both of Farmington; and two sisters, Joann R. McMorrow and Jane M. Walmer, both of Farmington.

Calling hours are Friday, December 15, from 5 pm to 8 pm, in the daily chapel of Sacred Heart Church, 910 Main Street South, Southbury. Service and burial are private. Arrangements are by Carpino Funeral Home, 750 Main Street, Southbury.
