Fall Festival Will Feature âEarnestâ
WATERBURY â Shakesperience Productions, Inc. will kick off its Fall Festival Of Theater with a production of the classic comedy The Importance of Being Earnest by Oscar Wilde. Two casts of ten young and adult actors from the community will perform the classic comedy of clashing worlds and overused pseudonyms.
Performances run September 14-23, with a 7:30 pm show time on Fridays and Saturdays and 2 pm matinees on Sundays. All performances will take place at the Shakesperience Studio, 117 Bank Street in Waterbury.
Tickets can be purchased in person at the Shakesperience Studio or by calling the office at 203-754-2531. Tickets have been set at $12 for adults and $5 for children and senior citizens.
Shakesperience is a professional theater company located in downtown Waterbury, and reaches a statewide audience of adults and students alike with school tours, a Spring Comedy Performance at the Palace Theater, acting intensives, summer camps, residencies, Shakespeare in Library Park and the upcoming Fall Festival Of Theater.
