*Mohegan Sun announced the onsale for tickets to three big concerts this week: TOBY KEITH, NICKELBACK and FLEETWOOD MAC.
The country music superstar will be in Connecticut on Friday, January 23, with Jason Aldean taking care of the opening set. Tickets for that show are $75 and $95 and will be on sale Saturday starting at 10 am through TicketMaster vendors. If tickets remain on Sunday they will also be available through the casinoâs box office.
Multi-platinum selling rockers Nickelback will return as well to the arena in Uncasville, with their next show coming on Sunday, March 8. Seether and Saving Abel will open, and tickets are $70 and $90. Those tickets will also be on sale Saturday at 10 through TicketMaster, and Sunday in addition at the box office.
Meanwhile, legendary supergroup Fleetwood Mac will embark on its first tour in five years, starting March 1 in Pittsburgh and reaching Connecticut just 13 days later⦠without Christine McVie and maybe â this is still in the talking stages, I believe â with Sheryl Crow. Regardless, the multi-Grammy Award winning Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees will be at Mohegan Sun Arena on March 14, and those tickets will be going on sale Monday at 10 am. If the show somehow doesnât sell out, tickets will also be available starting on Tuesday at the arenaâs box office. Oh, and tickets for this show are available for $125, $150 and $175.
*Tickets still available for âKenny G: The Holiday Show,â which will be at The Palace Theater in Waterbury on Saturday, December 20. The world renowned instrumentalist will perform familiar songs off some of his best-selling albums as well as new material from Rhythm & Romance, a new release that blends samba, salsa and bossa nova love songs with Gâs signature saxophone melodies.
Tickets are $40 to $71 and can be ordered through the theaterâs box office, 203-755-4700.
In addition to the show, the theater is offering pre-show dinner â by reservation only â in the Palaceâs exclusive Poli Club, located on the theaterâs mezzanine level. Dinner is $50 per person (inclusive of tax and gratuity) and includes a four-course meal and a glass of wine. Limited seating is available; call 203-755-8483 extension 139 for details about that offer.
Until next week Iâll be seeing you... on the road.
