Burglary/Larceny

Police report that sometime on January 8, someone illegally entered an unspecified home on Clearview Drive and stole items from the premises. Clearview Drive is a loop road that intersects with Toddy Hill Road at two locations.

Police are investigating the incident as a case of third-degree burglary and sixth-degree larceny. Police ask anyone with information on the matter to contact Officer Michael McGowan at the police station at 426-5841.

Saturn Vue

Motorist Cindy Manning, 49, of 4 Sweet Meadow Road was driving a 2006 Saturn Vue SUV westward near 100 Wasserman Way about 5:10 pm January 13, when a deer entered the street and collided with the vehicle, police said. Manning was not injured. Police took no enforcement.

Birch Hill Road

About 8:35 am January 12, motorist Edward H. White III, 17, of Pleasant Hill Road was driving a 1995 Honda sedan northward on Birch Hill Road, when while entering a curve in the road, he lost control of the vehicle, slid off the right side of the road and then struck a embankment and a stone wall, police said.

White was not injured. Police issued him a written warning for traveling too fast for conditions.
