Local Attorney Ranked As

‘Leading Litigation Attorney’

Monte Frank of Sandy Hook and a principal in the litigation practice of Cohen and Wolf, PC, received the prestigious honor of being recognized by Chambers USA 2009 as one of the “Leaders in their Fields” in litigation in Connecticut.  He is based in the firm’s Danbury office.

Chambers surveys lawyers throughout Connecticut to ascertain the leading attorneys and practice groups in the state. Mr Frank was lauded by Chambers “for his efficiency and for representing his clients with the appropriate level of aggression when the situation dictates.”

The Cohen and Wolf litigation practice as a whole was also ranked as a “leader” by Chambers USA, as was the firm’s real estate group. Two other members of the litigation practice were singled out by the publication: Richard Slavin and David Ball.

Stuart Katz, chair of the firm’s employment and labor practice, also was cited as a “leader” in his field.

Chambers has been publishing some of the world’s leading guides to the legal profession for nearly 20 years and has built a reputation for in-depth, objective research. Employing a team of 100 highly qualified full-time researchers, they conduct thousands of interviews with lawyers and their clients to identify and rank the world’s best lawyers.

Criteria are determined by what is most valued by clients, including technical expertise, business acumen, prompt delivery, and value for money. The 2009 edition of Chambers USA is available in hardcopy and online at www.chambersandpartners.co.uk.
