Begins Spring Rehearsals

The Newtown Choral Society, under the direction of Mary Andreotta, will hold an open rehearsal, Wednesday, January 26, at 7 pm, in the Newtown Middle School chorus room, to begin preparing for its spring concert. The Newtown Choral Society, now in its 24th year, is a nonaudition choir, which welcomes members from all area towns. Call 203-426-3769 or e-mail lel-choirs2@se-ltd.com for more information. New members are welcome at the first rehearsal. There are openings in all voices.

The choral society will be preparing  memorable choruses for this concert.

The concert is scheduled for Sunday, May 8, at The Newtown Meeting House, Main Street, Newtown.

The Newtown Choral Society performs two main concerts a year at The Meeting House, as well as performing at weddings and other functions.
