Registration Open For Talk On Allergies, Eat Smart Program

NEW MILFORD — On Thursday, March 24, ear, nose throat specialist Timothy Kaiser, MD, will provide a community health forum titled “Sneezers and Wheezers: Lets Talk Sinus & Allergy.” This program will be held at the New Milford Hospital Robison Conference Rooms.

Most people look forward to the many signs of spring — with the budding of the trees, the flowers springing from the ground, and the grass turning green. But, for many other people, these signs of spring bring a season of wheezing, runny noses, breathing problems, itchy eyes, and various other allergy symptoms.

While there are plenty of over-the-counter and prescription “cures” for these discomforts, but the fact is  not all are effective or safe for general everyday use.

Dr Kaiser will provide information on the many seasonal and nonseasonal allergens such as pollen, mold, pet dander, dust, and insect bites. His lecture includes information on an in-office balloon sinuplasty procedure now available.

The cost for this series is $50 per family. These classes are scheduled for Tuesday evenings, March 22–May 17 from 6 to 7 pm, and each class is held at a different location to promote a variety of activities.
