State Police Find Pot Plants In Monroe

MONROE (AP) — State police say they found 180 pot plants and hallucinogenic mushrooms in a Monroe home.

State police spokesman Lt J. Paul Vance said Tuesday charges against 27-year-old Curt Porell and 41-year-old Kimberly Finocchio include operation of a drug factory, possession of marijuana, and possession of a hallucinogenic.

Vance said a search of their residence Monday by the State Police Narcotics Task Force turned up several pounds of marijuana, mushrooms and $11,000 in cash.

Police officials say they both are being held on $100,000 bond.
