To the Editor:

It is with great pleasure that I write this letter of endorsement and encourage my fellow Newtowners to vote for Mitch Bolinksy this November.

I came to know Mitch when I reached out to him several years ago to learn more about our state’s massive billion dollar debt and what could be done to address it. Mitch took the time to explain how the state arrived at this point and outlined solutions to address it. What impressed me the most about our conversation was the fact that he took the time to talk to me and listen to my concerns, despite having numerous demands on his time. I felt my voice did matter.

And since that time, my voice (and Newtown’s) continues to matter, thanks to Mitch. He consistently makes himself available to his constituents and is always willing to listen, even if what’s being said is at odds with his viewpoint. Mitch has a balanced approach to government and is always willing to reach across the aisle and include all legislative members to develop solutions to our state’s problems.

Above all, I deeply admire his personal integrity and the dedication he demonstrates as our representative. In our current caustic political environment, having a person like Mitch represent us is not only good government, but greatly needed.

Please support Mitch this November.
