Playreading Series To Continue With ‘Bent’

NEW MILFORD — TheatreWorks’ Page to Stage Playreadings series will present a reading of Martin Sherman’s chilling historical drama Bent. Written in 1979, Bent is a graphic, honest portrayal of the persecution of homosexual men by the Nazis during Word War II.

Bent will be presented at the TheatreWorks theatre, at 5 Brookside Avenue, on Sunday, May 21, at 7 pm. Admission is free, and a question and answer period will follow the reading with refreshments served. Call the box office at 860/350-6863 for directions.
