An Afternoon With Kevin Briody

DANBURY — “An Afternoon with Kevin Briody,” Connecticut’s State Troubadour, will be presented at Richter House on Sunday, September 16, beginning at 3 pm. Admission is by donation.

The mid-afternoon concert promises a musicale of acoustic guitar and warm tenor vocals along with Mr Briody’s chatty spins of humor. As a finalist in many folk contests and a frequent showcase attraction for many folk festivals Mr Briody, of Ridgefield, has well-earned his appointment by the Connecticut Commission on the Arts.

He is also a serious composer, has established his own record company, and recently won the contest for a Connecticut state song.

Richter House is at 100 Aunt Hack Road, off Mill Plain Road.
