Women In Government

The Danbury Branch of American Association of University Women and the Brookfield League of Women Voters will hold a discussion and potluck supper at the Brookfield Community Center on Pocono Road on September 24, at 6 pm.

The topic to be covered is “Women in Government.” Susan Bysiewicz, Connecticut’s Secretary of State, and Judith Novachek, Bethel’s first selectman, will speak at the event. The public is welcome. For information, call Deidre Coury, at 740-2193.
