BRIDGEPORT — The Housatonic Museum of Art at Housatonic Community College, 90 Lafayette Boulevard, will be hosting an opening reception on Friday, June 11, from 6 to 8 pm, for “Places of The Spirit: Sacred Sites of the Adirondacks.” The exhibition offers approximately 40 photographs by Barry Lobdell, Heather MacLeod, Romaine Orthwein and Shellburne Thurber, who responded in 2001 to a challenge of visually responding to sacred sites incl churches, synagogues, burial grounds & landscape sites of spirituality in New York’s Adirondack region.
