Kimberly J. Ronneng

Kimberly J. (Robins) Ronneng, 43, of Newtown, beloved wife of Philip A. Ronneng, died February 15 in Danbury Hospital.

Born in Bridgeport, she was a Newtown resident most of her life. She was captain of the RGetts and advanced to the Royal Guardsmen, a marching and maneuvering color guard. She was a cosmetologist at Thomas E. Salon. She had a great love of drawing, painting, woodworking, hiking and skiing.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her parents, George and Joan Robins; two sisters, Amy Goodsel and Barbara Robins; mother-in-law, Shirley Ronneng; brothers-in-law, Norman A. Ronneng and Charlie Goodsel; sister-in-law, Aletta J. Couch; and two nieces.

Funeral services were held February 19 in the Redgate, Wilmot, West and Goulding Funeral Home, 406 Main Street, Monroe. Interment will be in Newtown Village Cemetery in the spring. Contributions may be made to the Kimberly Ronneng Memorial Fund, c/o Philip Ronneng, 22 Park Lane, Newtown, CT 06470.
