Chairing Cancer Walk

Jeffrey H. Gage of Newtown has been named chairman of the 11th annual Bennett Cancer Center Walk & Run, being held this year on Sunday, June 4. Mr Gage is senior vice president of Albert B. Ashforth, Inc, the corporate real estate brokerage division of The Ashforth Company in Stamford.

The Ashforth Company is the event’s founding and title sponsor. The Walk & Run is the largest single-day fundraising event in lower Fairfield County, having raised more than $4 million over the last ten years, and its 2006 fundraising goal is $1 million.

Mr Gage is a commercial real estate broker, specializing in office leasing and investment property sales. He is a past president of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors Connecticut Chapter and a member of the national board of directors. Mr Gage is also a member of CoreNet Global and serves on the board of directors for the Real Estate Finance Association.
