High School Sophomores Are Invited To Apply Now For HOBY Seminar

The Newtown Woman’s Club GFWC, Inc, is looking for a Newtown High School sophomore interested in attending the 2007 Huge O’Brian Youth Leadership seminar, to be held at the Quality Inn in Vernon in late March.

For five decades, the Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership (HOBY) has worked diligently at helping young people make a difference and become positive catalysts for change — in the home, school, workplace, and community. As the nation’s foremost youth leadership development organization and with more than 355,000 alumni, HOBY is respected worldwide.

The vision for HOBY is to motivate and empower individuals to make a positive difference within the global society through understanding and action based on effective and compassionate leadership.
