Bag Sale

NEW MILFORD — The Thrift Mart of New Milford will hold a one day bag sale Saturday, August 25, from 10 am to 4 pm. Clothing will be only $5 per bag or $1 per item.

The sale will help the store clear much of its summer inventory while allowing shoppers to stock up on every thing from clothing for all seasons to hand bags and shoes.

The store is at 146 Danbury Road, behind the professional building located between Ring’s End Lumber and Monroe Muffler (under the red awning).

The store is staffed entirely by volunteers. All proceeds are used for local needs in the New Milford area including scholarships to college students and high school students about to enter college, New Milford schools (including their plays), New Milford Hospital, social services, and other out reach programs.

Donations of clothing and household items are accepted during business hours only: from 10 am to 4 pm, Monday through Saturday.
