Dorothy T.    Rinaldi

Dorothy T. Rinaldi, 68, of 27 Crows Nest Lane, Danbury, died August 8 at Danbury Hospital.

She was the mother of Stephen Rinaldi of Newtown. She was the wife of 40 years of the late Frank Rinaldi.

Mrs Rinaldi was born September 27, 1932, in Mt Vernon, N.Y., daughter of the late LeRoy and Jennie (Munro) Dow. She was raised in Mt Vernon, and was married in Sacred Heart Church, Mt Vernon. From there she moved to the Bronx where she raised her children. She then lived in Garnerville, N.Y., from 1985 to 1996; Dunedin, Fla., from 1996 to 1999; and then moved to Connecticut in 1999. She was an avid animal lover.

She is also survived by another son, Christopher Rinaldi of Danbury; a daughter, Monica Tarnowski of Southbury; a brother, Walter Dow of Toms River, N.J.; and five grandchildren.

A funeral mass was held on August 13 at St Gregory Barbarigo Roman Catholic Church in Garnerville, N.Y. Burial was in Ascension Cemetery, Suffern, N.Y.

The Southbury Funeral Home of Munson-Lovetere, 235 Main Street North, was in charge of arrangements.
