‘Life Lessons From The Dugout’: Father-Son Fellowship With Valentine Planned

Bobby Valentine will be the featured speaker on Sunday, October 28, when the St Rose of Lima Parish hosts a Men’s Night.

The former MLB player and manager, ESPN baseball analyst, and current Sacred Heart University Athletic Director will share “Life Lessons from the Dugout” during a program scheduled to begin at 6:15. The program will be in the Holy Innocents Faith Formation Center, 38 Church Hill Road; doors will open at 5:45 pm.

A Fairfield County resident, Mr Valentine is well-known for his incredible leadership on and off the field. Valentine has received numerous awards both for his athletic successes and philanthropy. He has also served as a Grand Marshall for the Columbus Day parade in New York City, holds a key to the city, is a Branch Rickey Award recipient, and is also a Connecticut Gold Key winner.

The fun-filled evening will offer plenty of sports talk, raffles, ballpark cuisine, beer (21 & over) and soft drinks included; a $10 per person goodwill donation is requested.
