Tickets Available For Keeler Tavern Christmas Luncheons

RIDGEFIELD — Reservations are now open and seatings are selling at a record pace for Keeler Tavern’s annual Christmas Luncheons, a holiday tradition in Ridgefield’s most historic museum home. The museum, at 132 Main Street, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Luncheons still available are on Thursday, December 7, and Friday, December 8, with two seatings each day at 11:30 am and 1 pm. Three seatings are available on Saturday, December 9, at 11:30 am, and 1 and 2:15 pm.

A three-course holiday luncheon will be featured at this year’s important fundraiser for the tavern. Volunteers dressed in Colonial costumes will serve an all-new menu in the beautiful Garden House, decorated for the holidays by Caudatowa Garden Club.

A Holiday Gift Boutique will be operated in the main tavern building from 10:30 am to 3:30 pm on the days of the luncheons. The boutique will offer a wide array of gift items for the holidays, many hand-crafted by local artists, as well as gifts representative of Ridgefield and its history.

Cost for the luncheon, including entrée, salad and homemade holiday cookies and pastries, coffee or tea, is $20. All proceeds go to Keeler Tavern, which is operated by volunteers. All funds support preservation of the historic building and its grounds, as well as the museum’s educational programs.
