Kyle Patrick Rohne and Amy Kathryn Robinson of Southbury announce their engagement.

Ms Robinson is the daughter of Cathy and Charley Robinson of Sandy Hook. The bride-to-be is a 2005 graduate of Newtown High School and received her bachelor of science degree in nutrition and food sciences from the University of Vermont in 2009. She is employed as a quality assurance coordinator by Pepperidge Farm Inc.

Mr Rohne is a 2002 graduate of Queensbury High School and attended the University of Vermont. He is the son of Ken Rohne of Queensbury, N.Y., and Michelle Hill of Brighton, Mich. Mr Rohne is employed by Eastern Mountain Sports.

The couple is planning an October 10, 2010, wedding in Lake Placid, N.Y.
