SOUTHBURY â The next concert in The Gate House Cafe will be a performance by The Walters on Tuesday, July 25. The free concert will run from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.
The Gate House Cafe is located on Route 172, in front of Southbury Training School and three miles north of I-84 Exit 14.

The Walters were formed 16 years ago when guitarist/singer Kent Aldrich and harmonica player Time Quinn left a succession of electric blues bands to perform a more intimate and acoustic blend of the music. The name came as a tribute to the two great Chicago blues harmonica players, Little Walter Jacobs and Big Walter Horton.
Now performing with Dave Aston on stand-up bass, the groupâs repartee includes songs from the blues side of country, jazz, folk and originals as well. The Walters are a group that can play on a stage or a small room with equally the same musicality.
