WILTON â Weir Farm Art Center will host the 12th annual Jazz in the Garden, an outdoor concert featuring the Brubeck Brothers Quartet at the Weir Farm National Historic Site.
This yearâs concert will be on Sunday, September 16, from 4 to 6 pm, at the historic site, 735 Nod Hill Road.
Tickets reserved in advance are $15 for WFAC members, $20 general admission adults, and $5 ages 12 and under. Tickets day of the event at the gate will be $20, $25 and $5, respectively.
Concertgoers can share in the festive ambience on the beautiful terraced gardens of Weir Farm National Historic Site, and enjoy great jazz sounds while picnicking with friends and family.
For the second year, Jazz in the Garden will include the Paint Brush Raffle.
Attendees will have a rare opportunity to own an original oil painting by popular artist Frances B. Ashforth of Ridgefield. Tickets for this raffle are $10 for one or $25 for three and can be purchased during the event.Â
Please note all parking for the concert will be located at Branchville Elementary School in Ridgefield, off Route 102. Shuttles from the school will run to and from Weir Farm National Historic Site continuously between 3 pm and 7 pm. No parking will be available at Weir Farm National Historic Site.
Jazz in the Garden concerts are held in memory of Les Young, a longtime Weir Farm Art Center supporter, education advocate, and State Representative from New Canaan. All proceeds will benefit in part the public calendar of events including art classes, workshops, exhibitions and lectures held at Weir Farm National Historic Site.
