Kind, Compassionate, And Generous
Silbina âSibbyâ Hilario, 74, of Newtown, died June 4. Mrs Hilario was born in Danbury to Virgilio and Ernestina Simoes.
Her loving husband of 55 years, Arthur Hilario; her children, Paul Hilario of Newtown and Arthur Hilario, Jr, and wife, Jenny, of New Milford; her daughter, Barbara Iapaluccio and husband, Bob, of New Milford; and a sister, Mary Mulvey of Danbury, survive her. She was a wonderful and loving grandmother to her nine grandchildren, Jessica March of New Milford, John Pratt and wife, Tara, of Danbury, Artie Hilario, Brad Hilario, Ben Iapaluccio, Shelby Hilario, Kiki Iapaluccio, and Veronica Guertin-Hilario of New Milford, and Gabriella Hilario of Waterbury. She also leaves behind three great-grandchildren, Makenna March, Cameron Hilario, and Silbina Knecht of New Milford.
Mrs Hilario worked for many years at the former Consolidated Controls of Bethel, was manager of the Merrill Lynch Realty in Danbury and New Milford, manager of Prudential Realty of Danbury and New Milford, and was vice president of her familyâs business, Hilarioâs Service Center and Hilarioâs Super Variety.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends and will always be remembered as the truly kind, compassionate, generous, and loving woman that she was to everyone in her life.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated at St Rose of Lima Church, June 9. Burial was in St Peter Cemetery, Danbury.
