PROVINCETOWN, MASS. — Andrew Kooistra will be exhibiting a work called “In Honor of F.S. Warthen” as one of ten Provincetown Art Association Museum (PAAM) members interpreting seven works from the permanent collection in the exhibition, “Art of the Garden Invitational Exhibition.” The exhibit will open June 27 and be on view through July 27.

Ferol Sibley Warthen (1890–1986) was an important Provincetown painter and white line woodblock printmaker who studied with Karl Knaths and Blanche Lazzell, developing a unique lyrical cubist style mainly of flowers, still life and seascapes.

The exhibit opens June 27, with the reception from 8 to 10 pm, and will run in conjunction with PAAM’s Secret Garden Tour on July 13.

PAAM is at 460 Commercial Street. For more information, 508-477-1750.
