       Sugar Plum Sunday Storytime
           At The Woodbury Ballet
WOODBURY â Woodbury Balletâs Sugar Plum Fairy (Natalie Rock) invites children of all ages, especially those eager to meet her as she prepares for her magical journey to the land of the sweets, to join her at a Sunday Storytime. The free event will be held on Sunday, November 29, from 1 to 3 pm, at the Woodbury Ballet studios, 706 Main Street in the Middle Quarter Mall.
The Sugar Plum Fairy along with many of her friends from the Land of the Sweets will greet guests and treat them to a special performance. The Dew Drop Fairy, a Chinese dancer, a waltzing flower and even a flurry of snowflakes will interact with children during this festive afternoon event.
A childâs version of The Nutcracker will be read aloud by a professional story teller. Children will be able to take part in the dancing as specially-invited guests of the Sugar Plum Fairy. Light refreshments will also be served.
A professional photographer will be on hand to take photos of children posed with their favorite character from the Nutcracker. Photos will be available for purchase for a nominal fee.
The event is especially geared towards children ages 3 to 8. Registration is not required, but is kindly requested; call Woodbury Ballet at 203-263-0313.
