Community Presbyterian Church To Present The Gospel In Lessons And Carols

On Thursday, December 24, at 7 pm, Community Orthodox Presbyterian Church will presents “The Gospel in Lessons and Carols,” a time of singing and encouragement. The public is invited to join members of the church at Newtown Meeting House, 31 Main Street, for the special service.

The service joins Scripture texts that speak of the birth of Christ with popular carols that highlight the themes in those Bible verses. Universally loved, this service is used with some variation worldwide.

Refreshments will be served after the service.

Parking is available in front of the church, along Main Street and behind the branch of Newtown Savings Bank at 39 Main Street.

Community Orthodox Presbyterian Church is a bible-believing congregation in the reformed tradition.
