Rollover Accident

Motorist Mario Mendoza, 48, of Hamden was driving a station wagon on Berkshire Road, about 100 feet west of its intersection with Zoar Road, at about 5:30 am August 10, when while rounding a curve, for an unknown reason, he lost control of the vehicle and struck a traffic sign on the road shoulder, causing the auto to roll over on its roof, police said.

Mendoza was not injured. Police said they issued Mendoza an infraction for a moving violation.
