Holiday Grief Workshop Offered By Healing Hearts

DANBURY —A workshop on Grief During the Holidays will be held on Wednesday, December 15, from 6 to 7:30 pm, at The Healing Hearts Center for Grieving Children & Families at 73 Stadley Rough Road.

Holidays can be especially difficult after a loved one has died. This beneficial workshop will discuss practical ways to approach the holidays and get through them. Participants will find insight and learn strategies for working through their grief.

The workshop facilitator is Jenny Casey, MSW, a facilitator at The Healing Hearts Center for Grieving Children & Families. She earned a master’s in social work from Southern Connecticut State University and has been a special program counselor at Holy Cross High School since 2001.

The Healing Hearts Center for Grieving Children & Families, a program of Regional Hospice, offers numerous support groups, workshops, and programs to the public free of cost throughout the year.
