And Brother

Robert S. Geoghegan, 59, of Ansonia and formerly of Stamford, died after a courageous battle against cancer, March 3, at Griffin Hospital of Derby. He was born in Greenwich, December 24, 1951, son of Betty R. Rucker Geoghegan and John Geoghegan.

Survivors include his father; two brothers, including Edward S. Geoghegan, and his wife Stephanie, of Newtown; two nieces and a nephew. He was predeceased by his mother.

Mr Geoghegan graduated from the J.M. Wright Technical School, Stamford. He worked as a computer technician for AT&T for 40 years.

Funeral services will take place Saturday, March 19, at The United Church of Christ, 210 Rowayton Avenue, Rowayton, at 4 pm. He will be buried in The United Church of Rowayton Memorial Circle. The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home, 12 Franklin Street, Ansonia, is entrusted with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Griffin Hospital Cancer Center, 130 Division Street, Derby CT 06418 or Connecticut Hospice of Branford, 100 Double Beach Road, Branford CT 06405.
