âLocally Grown Artâ In Bloom
DANBURY â Danbury Museum & Historical Society, 43 Main Street, is presenting âLocally Grown Artâ through March 20 in Huntington Hall. The juried exhibit is part of an ongoing Locally Grown Artist & Authors Series and features works by Jane Bennett, Eric Camiel, Barry Collins, Giada Crispiels, Randy Lagana, Honorah OâNeil and Lys Guillorn.
The museum has partnered with Housatonic Valley Cultural Alliance as a new venue for its 2012 Accessible Art Project. Sculpture, photography and painting are the featured mediums in this show.
The exhibit is open Tuesday through Friday, 10 am to 3 pm; and Saturday, from 10 am to 4 pm. Admission is free, but donations are accepted.Â
On February 25, from 1 to 3 pm, Bethel Town Historian Patrick Wild will introduce his new book, Historic Tales of Bethel, Connecticut.
