There are many kind and generous people in Newtown who appreciate and support the work we all do to keep our town a vibrant and lovely place to work and live. One of those people is Tim Wilder of Tim Wilder Tree Care in Newtown. He has done work for my family for many years keeping our wonderful trees strong and healthy.

Tim has now rallied to the aid of the Town and Country Garden Club to do pro bono work pruning the two large healthy trees on the traffic island at Glover Avenue and Queen Street. Our club is in the process of reworking this island so that is it easier to care for, more attractive to the eye, and more environmentally friendly. We so appreciate Tim's generosity in giving his time and expertise to our cause. The island is already looking and feeling better, thanks to Tim.
