Zagat Seeks Restaurant Critics

NEW YORK CITY — Calling all diners. Zagat is getting ready to publish its annual survey of the Connecticut/ Southern New York restaurant scene and is asking you to get out and vote on your favorite and not-so-favorite spots.

Zagat, which revolutionized the art of restaurant criticism by allowing consumers to share their dining experiences in Zagat Surveys, continues to rely on “in the know” restaurant-goers as the basis of its content and the reason behind its guidebooks’ enormous popularity.

Those who vote and return their completed questionnaires by the deadline of February 2, 2001, will receive a free copy of the guide when it is published this spring.
