Middlebury Library Book Sale
MIDDLEBURY â The Friends of Middlebury Library are holding their Annual Book Sale. The sale will be held in the lower level of the library on Saturday, April 28, from 10 am to 4 pm, and the following Saturday, May 5, from 10 am to 4 pm.
A large number of books have been accumulated for this yearâs sale. A wide selection of hardcover books and paperbacks will be available in numerous categories including childrenâs books, literature, history, mysteries, fine arts, cooking, gardening, nature, travel, science and medicine, and psychology, self-help, and reference. On the first day of the sale, most of the books will be priced at $1 for hard covers and 50 cents for paperbacks. A selection of more expensive items will be available and will be priced individually. On the second Saturday, all books will be half price. On Monday, May 7, the remaining books will be sold for $2 per bag from 10 am to 4 pm.
Proceeds from the book sale will be used to purchase items for the library not included in the annual budget. Prior sales have funded the Museum Pass Program and the purchase of Apple iMac computers, a digital camera, and an InFocus computer projection unit.
