Real Saints Trump Faux Saints
Real Saints Trump
Faux Saints
To the Editor:
The article on âSt Echinaceaâ was amusing to say the least. Why pray to a fictitious saint when there are many real saints who lived on this earth and often died as martyrs defending their faith in God? These saints are more than willing to hear our intentions and bring them to God.
Associating God our creator with a phony saint as in the printed âmeditationâ is ridiculous as well. While I have great sympathy for those who are sick, praying to a made-up saint is insulting to those souls who have achieved (or will achieve) genuine sainthood.
