The second annual Wine Tasting event, hosted by the Newtown High School Blue & Gold Booster Club with the support of Sandy Hook Wine & Liquor, will be held Saturday, November 11, from 6:30 yo 9:30 pm, in the Edmund Town Hall gymnasium.
The second annual Wine Tasting event, hosted by the Newtown High School Blue & Gold Booster Club with the support of Sandy Hook Wine & Liquor, will be held Saturday, November 11, from 6:30 yo 9:30 pm, in the Edmund Town Hall gymnasium.
The event is a fundraiser for the B&Gâs quest to install an artificial playing surface at the high school stadium and to improve existing facilities there and at the fields behind the high school.
Wine connoisseurs will be sampling 50 wines from around the world with musical accompaniment and hors dâouevres prepared by the Newtown High School culinary students.

Make checks payable to NHS Blue & Gold.
Sandy Hook Wine & Liquor will donate $1 for ever bottle of wine ordered at the tasting.
