A Fitting Tribute

To the Editor:

I am writing to express my appreciation to The Newtown Bee for publishing a very fitting tribute to my beautiful dog Queen Misty. Thank you so much for your condolences in the column entitled Top of the Mountain (September 30, 2011).

I would like to thank all those individuals who expressed their sympathy during this extremely difficult time. Thank you for your cards and also for your donations made in Queen Misty’s memory to the Canine Advocate’s “Sonny Fund.”

Also, my sincere thanks goes out to Dr Martin F. Burg at the Monroe Animal Hospital for providing excellent care for Misty for the past 14 years. Thank you Dr Burg and your wonderful staff for your dedicated service to the animals entrusted to you care.
