Alzheimer’s Program: Legal And Financial Planning

SOUTHBURY — The Alzheimer’s Association/CT chapter and Brownstein Jewish Family Service have teamed up to present a seminar where caregivers will be given tools needed to provide care for persons with dementia.

The public program will take place on Thursday, October 25, from 2 to 4 pm, in the library at the Walzer Family Jewish Community Campus, 444 Main Street North in Southbury.

Rosemary Jones, a certified elder law attorney, will speak. Her talk will include information about conservatorships and power of attorney, Medicaid and Medicare, and nursing home regulations and home care programs.
