*Thanks to the snow storm late last week that blanketed the area with snow that’s still around this week, the planned show on February 18 by TREBLEHOOK at The Fireside Inn has been rescheduled. If you didn’t make the trek out to see the band in the midst of the snow storm, it’s OK. The guys will be at the bar next week instead. Treblehook will be at 123 Main Street South on Friday, March 3.

*CREED is now a definite concert for the New Haven Coliseum. The band will be headlining a show on Wednesday, April 12, that will include special guests SEVENDUST and UPO. Tickets, at $25.50 and $27.50, are going on sale Friday, February 25, at 10 am. Showtime is 7:30.

Tickets for this concert will be available through TicketMaster (203/624-0033 or 860/525-4500), online at www.ticketmaster.com, and in person at TicketMaster outlets at Filene’s stores. Of course, you can also visit the coliseum’s box office in person, too.

*On Friday at 3 pm, tickets for a concert by PHIL LESH & FRIENDS, a tour that has been hinted at for a few months, will be going on sale. Lesh and pals will be at the Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford on Thursday, April 6. The Lesh tickets are all $38.50 apiece, and available directly through the Oakdale’s box office. Visit the theatre, at 95 South Turnpike Road, or call 203/265-1501.

*And finally this week, the second concert to be announced for this summer at The Meadows will be going on sale this weekend (TINA TURNER’s June 15 return went on sale last weekend). BRITNEY SPEARS will be at the Hartford amphitheatre on Wednesday, June 21, for an 8 pm concert. Her tickets are $25 for the lawn area and $40 for pavilion seating.

Because the Meadows’ box office is still not open for the season, these tickets are going to be sold through tickets.com (which was formerly Pro-Tix). You can charge them by calling 860/422-0000 or visit www.tickets.com. For in-person purchases, visit any Strawberries Music & Video store in Connecticut and western Massachusetts.

Until next week, I’ll be seeing you... on the road.
