HUNTINGTON, N.Y. — Elias Pekale Shows Ltd. opens the spring antiques season on Long Island with the 28th annual Antiques & Collectibles Show & Sale at Heckscher Ball Park on Sunday, April 27. Benefiting the League for Animal Protection of Huntington (LAP), there will be more than 75 dealers participating in this traditionally popular, first of the season outdoor show.

Sheila Pekale, head of Pekale Shows says, “We’re looking forward to a great spring antiques season. Our emphasis has always been on affordable quality antiques. We’ve built our reputation on shows designed to be exhibitor and customer friendly.”

With a blend of old and new exhibitors at the show, buying opportunities will be excellent. Featuring top quality country and folk will be Irene Nardolillo, Northport; the Yankee Peddler, Bedford, N.Y will bring vintage clothing and accessories; Depression items and phonographs from Tom Betterley, Brooklyn, N.Y.; garden accessories by Sheila Reider Antiques, Merrick, N.Y., Terri Chipperfield, Holbrook, N.Y., and Harry and Ginny, Brookhaven, N.Y.; along with vintage costume jewelry, linens, ephemera, silver, fine porcelain, prints, books, decorative accessories, collectibles and so much more — all in combination to make this a really great show.

The show will take place, outdoors, rain or shine, on Sunday, April 27, 10 am to 4:30 pm. Donation admission $5.50, children under 12 admitted free. There is ample free parking. Heckscher Ball Park is located directly off 25A (Main Street), on Sabbath Day Path.
