Rwandan Mountain Gorillas And The Summit Of Mt Kilimanjaro
WATERBURY â The Mattatuck Museum Arts & History Center will kick off its 2008-09 travel program with âTravel: A Prescription for Adventureâ on Thursday, May 15, at 5:30 pm. The evening will feature an exhilarating presentation by Peter Jacoby and Paul Largay, guaranteed to fill each attendee with a yearning to travel. Admission is free.
Dr Peter Jacoby, director of emergency services at Saint Maryâs Hospital, and Paul Largay of Largay Travel will share stories about their recent African odyssey. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.
The unique experience, combined with their equally unique personalities and humorous perspective on the journey, should delight and entertain all in attendance.
Rounding out the program will be Mina DiSora and Amanda Kilimack, Largay Travelâs travel specialists, who will describe the 2008-09 museum travel calendar. The Mattatuck Museum is designing its upcoming travel programs to meet the travel and cultural interests of its members.
