Danbury Whalers Hosting Womenâs Center Benefit
DANBURY â When the Danbury Whalers host the Akwasasne Warriors on Friday, December 17, for a 7:05 game at Danbury Ice Arena, the evening will double as a benefit for The Womenâs Center of Greater Danbury.
The Womenâs Center has its own section of reserved seating and the president of its board of directors will drop the ceremonial first puck to start the game.
Many auction and raffle items will be available, including a team-signed game puck, a team-signed used game stick, individual autographed player pictures, the chance to practice with the Danbury Whalers, be the team owner for a day or have the Whalers come to your home for dinner, a private hockey lesson from a Whalers player, the opportunity to drop the ceremonial first puck at a future game, four tickets to a luxury suite at a future Whalers game, a 50/50 raffle, and more.
