McMurrough Competes In Chicago Marathon

Newtown native Micaela McMurrough ran the Bank of America Chicago Marathon on October 9. She finished the race in 3:02.39.

McMurrough, who ran cross country at Newtown High School, and now resides in New York City, participated as part of the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation to provide hope to veterans with spinal cord injuries.

McMurrough has raised more than $7,000 for the foundation.
