Rower Senf Wins Medals As Part Of Youth National Team

After being selected to train for three weeks in June with the National Team coach in Pittsburgh, Newtown’s Michael Senf was chosen to represent the United States as part of the Youth National Team to compete at the CanAmMex International Regatta held in Mexico City, Mexico in July.

Senf won two medals for his efforts. He won a silver medal with his teammates in the 4 man boat and a bronze medal with his teammate Jake Snyder of New Fairfield in the doubles event.

Senf went on to Canada to compete in the Royal Canadian Henley Regatta in St. Catharines, Ontario in early August.
