Local Man Accidentally Dies At Home

A local man was accidentally electrocuted at home on August 17 while he was working with electrical equipment, police said.

An autopsy on the remains of Paul M. Epifano, 42, of 8 Pine Tree Hill Road indicated that he died of accidental electrocution, a spokeswoman for the chief state’s medical examiner said August 21.

Police said they responded to a medical assist call at 2:03 pm August 17 at the home, where Mr Epifano was reported to be unconscious in the attic, where he had been working with some electrical equipment.

Ambulance staffers were attempting to revive Mr Epifano when police arrived, police said.
