WOODBURY â A New England tradition will continue at Flanders Nature Centerâs Sap House this weekend, when sap is collected and cooked into syrup. The public is invited to learn the history, science and humor of maple syrup production on Saturday and Sunday, March 18-19, from 2 to 4 pm each afternoon.
Demonstrations and interpretations will be provided by volunteers and staff members, free of charge. The Sap House is on Cowles Road. Maple syrup and other maple produces will be available for purchase. For directions, call 263-3711; reservations are not needed.
